Arts Adventure
Ages 6 - 7

Using adventure stories, folktales and fairytales as springboards, children take imaginative journeys to faraway lands! Teaching artists lead students in theme-based explorations of creative drama, music, movement and visual art. Students develop their ability to work as an ensemble, active listening skills, focus/concentration, spontaneity and creativity, along with their understanding of story sequencing and character creation. Camps are structured to provide students with a variety of activities. Special guest artists join the students and teachers to enrich their understanding of different themes and cultures. photo

Parents: Please be advised that parents do not participate in Arts Adventure classes. An informal sharing for families takes place at the end of each two-week session.
