Working, written by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso, and based on the book by Studs Terkel, is an extraordinary musical that focuses on the hopes, dreams, joys and concerns of the average working American. Working looks to celebrate the lives of the “common” men and women the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the parking lot attendant, the waitress, the millworker, the mason, the trucker, the fireman, the housewife. This show is sure to inspire anyone who has ever punched a time clock and invites us to celebrate the achievements of those around us.
Tickets are on sale now ($10). Call 301.280.1660 to purchase tickets or buy online.
